Building a core industrial chain in field of new generation information technology

A few days ago, China Great Wall (Tianjin) Independent Innovation Base project settled in Binhai High-tech Zone (the THT for short) under Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA for short), with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. The project is committed to building an independent security computer intelligent manufacturing center based in Tianjin, radiating Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, and facing the Bohai Rim, and will form a complete national industrialized CPU-operating system machine industrial chain in Binhai New Area.

It is claimed that China Great Wall Technology Group Co., Ltd. relies on the technological advantages, industrial advantages, and ecological advantages formed by China Great Wall in the industrial field to establish a wholly-owned subsidiary Tianjin Great Wall Computer System Co., Ltd. in the Marine Science and Technology Park of THT to develop and build Tianjin's independent innovation base. The total planned investment of the project is 250 million yuan, which will be constructed in two stages. The first phase of the project plans to invest 100 million yuan to build a production base and sales center in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is expected to produce 300,000 computers annually after the commissioning and an estimated annual output value of 1.5 billion yuan. The second phase of the project plans to invest 150 million yuan to join the upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial ecological chain and government funds to jointly build a localized data center.

According to reports, the Great Wall China has formed a complete ecological chain of "chip-user-cloud", which has nurtured the network information industry ecology of "Phytium + Kylin + Security" of the Great Wall, forming a systematic core advantage. Especially in the fields of cloud storage devices, PLC systems and switches, Great Wall China has unique advantages. It has created a national production cloud base for computing power infrastructure such as data centers and intelligent computing centers, which has fundamentally achieved data security. It can fully support the development needs of local intelligence and digitization.

In fact, the establishment of the project of China Great Wall (Tianjin) Independent Innovation Base is the further expansion of the independent industrial chain of Binhai New Area.

The reporter learned that Binhai New Area has initially constructed a core industrial chain covering "CPU + operating system + core communication + database + middleware + application software" in the field of new generation information technology, and has many servers, communication equipment, electronic components, etc. Each subdivision industry is at the national advanced level. Relying on two national new-type industrialized industrial demonstration bases in the electronic information industry, software and information service industries, as well as a number of national-level electronic information industry development carriers such as the national integrated circuit design industrialization base and the national torch plan software industrial base, the TBNA gathered nearly 1,000 new-generation information technology companies such as Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation, Samsung Electronics, Hongfujin, and Sugon, as well as a number of high-level innovation platforms such as the National Supercomputing Center in Tianjin, Tianjin Academy for Intelligent Recognition Technologies, Institute for Electronics and Information Technology in Tianjin, Tsinghua University, Institute for New Generation Information Technology (Binhai New Area), Peking University and Institute for Industrial Technology, Zhejiang University.

In September 2019, the Binhai High-tech Zone was approved by the National Development and Reform Commission to build the country's only cyberspace information security product and service industry cluster, which has become an important support for inducing new kinetic energy and creating a growth pole for economic development. After the cluster is approved, the development trend is good, and the industrial chain of "hardware + software + service" is initially formed. "Introducing new kinetic energy requires finding strength, advantages and maximum growth. At present, our first industry is the new generation of information technology. The THT has a large number of leading companies in the industry and the only cyberspace information security product and service industry cluster approved by the state. It will speed up the introduction of new kinetic energy around this industry, and promote high-quality development of Binhai New Area." In this industrial chain series, Binhai High-tech Zone has Phytium, Kylin, 360 at the front end, Sugon and Great Wall at the downstream, and Huawei, Tencent, Tiandy, etc. at the supporting end. The industrial chain has advantages. In the next three years, Binhai High-tech Zone (the THT) will continue to strengthen and supplement the industrial chain of Internet information security products and services, and truly become an "ace team" in this field.
