On May 26, the Cyberspace Administrative Committee of the District Party Committee held a meeting. Lian Maojun, a member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Binhai New Area District Party Committee, chaired and delivered a speech. The meeting pointed out that the Cyberspace Administrative Committee of the District Party Committee has conscientiously implemented the decision-making and deployment of the Central Party Committee, the Municipal Party Committee and the District Party Committee, improved the system, built a barrier, vigorously innovated, and contributed to the cyberspace for the overall planning of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control and economic and social development.


The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on a great power in cyberspace, strive for strategic initiative and win development opportunities with high-quality cyberspace work, and strive to build a first-class strong new area in cyberspace. First, we must focus on political guidance, and high-level positions should focus on the right direction of cyberspace. The banner clearly strengthens the party's centralized and unified leadership of the cyberspace work, stresses "Chinese power, Chinese spirit, and Chinese efficiency", and firmly grasps the initiative of cyberspace ideological work. Second, we must focus on the cyberspace management, and strengthen network publicity and guidance with high standards. We must promote the actualization of online publicity, highlight practicality, speed, depth and accuracy, do a good job in media integration, and defend the main position of online publicity. Third, we must focus on information-driven and high-quality development of the digital economy. We must strengthen the new digital infrastructure, fully promote the development of cyberspace and innovative industry, accelerate the construction of smart cities, strengthen overall coordination, break through data barriers, promote resource pooling and application, and build an end-to-end network cloud integration system. Fourth, we must focus on system construction and promote the implementation of online communications at a high level. We must consolidate work responsibilities, strengthen network security management, temper professional teams, attract excellent talents, and continuously improve the overall level of online communications.
