"DaDaDa ..." In the production workshop, the machines on the mask production line are running one after another, and the finished disposable medical masks are quickly produced. A few days ago, Jinyi (Tianjin) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. was registered and settled in Tianjin International Joint Academy for Biomedicine (TJAB for short). The company renovated an idle clean production workshop in the TJAB and built a disposable medical mask production line. At present, the production line has been installed and commissioned, and has passed testing to achieve trial production. If it was operating under full-load operation, the daily output could reach 100,000.

The production line is to be officially put into production at the end of March.

On the morning of March 29, the reporter came to Jinyi (Tianjin) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. on the fourth floor of the conference building of the TJAB and saw that the workshop was very clean. Workers in masks and protective clothing were operating nervously and orderly with slight machine noise.

"At present we have a production line for disposable medical masks, with a daily output of 100,000." Zhang Yuehong, general manager of Jinyi (Tianjin) Medical Technology Co., Ltd. said in an interview with reporters that the workshop has a total area of 516 square meters and one end is the entrance for people and the other entrance for the materials. People need to enter the workshop after changing shoes, washing hands and changing clothes to keep the workshop clean. In the middle of the two entrances is the main production workshop, which is a "100,000-sacle" sterile clean workshop.

"At present, the company has received orders for masks from many overseas countries, and the order volume is not small." According to Zhang Yuehong, at the current stage, there are 20 workers in the production line, and 10 people work in shifts, 24 hours a day. At the same time, there is a production line of N95 masks waiting for the equipment to arrive. It is estimated that on March 31, it can be put into production together with the existing disposable medical mask production line. By then, the daily output of masks from these two production lines will reach 150,000.

Making masks is just for social responsibility.

"The main purpose of building a mask production line is to contribute to the prevention and control of COVID-19, and to protect people's mask needs." Zhang Yuehong told reporters that he had previously been engaged in oil screening international trade. After the COVID-19 pandemic, he and his partners began to contact overseas suppliers and purchased 50,000 masks and then I donated them to the Public Security Bureau of TBNA and the No.3 Hospital of Hubei Province. However, due to the severe COVID-19 pandemic and strict control of various countries, only a few thousand masks were shipped to China.

"Since it's not easy to buy, let's make it ourselves!" Zhang Yuehong said. On February 3, after he invented the idea of self-built mask production line, he signed the equipment purchase contract with the manufacturer the next day. At that time, he only thought that it was okay even he might have a loss. He must make masks so that the general folks would not have to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic with such difficulty.

In the process of establishing a mask production line, Zhang Yuehong encountered many problems. Zhang Yuehong told reporters that because he was making masks from scratch, he didn't really know the industry. In addition, because the purchased equipment was solicited by the host country, the delivery time of the supplier was also postponed. Moreover, the production of raw material melt blown cloth is also a big problem. "However, fortunately, these problems have been properly resolved." Zhang Yuehong told reporters that, when he was totally confused, he contacted the TJAB and resolved the workshop and personnel with its help even the equipment is in place. In addition, Zhang Yuehong also contacted TEDA CLEAN Co., Ltd., and under the premise of not affecting the TEDA CLEAN market supply, it obtained the melt blown cloth provided by TEDA CLEAN, which laid the foundation for production.

"One more mask can produce one more share of social responsibility." Zhang Yuehong told reporters that next month, it will open four more N95 mask production lines, which will not only meet market demand, but also help lessen the shortage of masks needed by students to resume classes and enterprises to resume work and production, providing material guarantee for winning the fight against COVID-19 prevention and control.
