Recently, the COVID-19 epidemic in overseas has continued to spread. To prevent and control the risk of overseas epidemic outbreaks, Tianjin has set up a connection point in the information service parking lot of the Tianjin Expressway Road Network to connect overseas returnees. How do overseas returnees know the return time? How does the community prevent and control the returnees? The reporter recently visited places for these questions.

In Taiping Town, Pan Feng, deputy director of the Public Security Office and Zhao Xiaolei, a member of the grid, served as the first group of connection personnel in the town. On March 22, they have participated in the transfer of returnees passing by Tianjin. According to reports, they were at work within one hour of receiving the notification of the connection and reached the designated connection point. At the scene, they obeyed the command of the frontline command, determined the arrival list and time, and contacted the vehicles in Binhai New Area in time to ensure that they were delivered to the quarantine.

A returning passenger from the United States was unable to reach the connecting person due to the lack of a signal on his mobile phone. Pan Feng and Zhao Xiaolei came to the airport lobby to contact the passenger by broadcast to determine the meeting place and received the returning passenger safely. Sometimes when encountering flight delays and uncertainties, the connection staff is on standby 24 hours at the connection point to ensure that the transfer work is carried out as soon as possible.

The reporter then came to the grassroots community to visit the prevention and control work for returnees. "Excuse me, when do you plan to return to Tianjin?" This is a telephone call from the grid men of Junjingwan Community in Xingang Street to those who have not returned from Tianjin. Recently, in order to ensure seamless docking with returnees, the Junjingwan community has increased the frequency of communication with overseas personnel, and further strengthened the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic through three major investigations, personnel information classification management, and “person-to-person” measures.

In order to ensure that "no household and no one is missed", the Junjingwan community strictly implements grid management, collects information through telephone, WeChat, and home visits, and conducts a total of three residents' information surveys to establish and improve the "one person with one file" first-level work ledger, implements classified management, and sets up the ledger of non-leaving personnel, the ledger of people who have returned from Tianjin, and the ledger of people who have not returned from Tianjin. Take "person-to-person" measures to follow up with the people who have left Tianjin but haven’t returned, it makes details for the epidemic prevention and control work to everyone, and accurately grasps the health status and dynamic information of such personnel. Follow-up of overseas personnel is the top priority of the work. Grid members strictly implement the daily reporting system and report dynamic data at the community morning and evening meetings. At the same time, the return time, the personal information and action trajectory of the centralized quarantine personnel will be reported to the Xingang Street Epidemic Prevention Command as soon as possible to ensure that the information reporting and docking of the centralized quarantine personnel can be successfully completed with the smooth flow of information.
